Construction of fleet bridge
Bridge near Brighton, is at angle of skew to river of 23°, its width, between wrought iron railings of parapet is 36 ft, deck is 22 ft wide and there are two 7 ft wide footpaths; bridge consists of nine prestressed concrete longitudinal beams which have span between bearing points of 67 ft 5 3/8 in.; formwork erected on reinforced concrete invert.
