Utilization of ground-water storage in stream system development
Consideration of conditions necessary for successful use of ground water in irrigation; limited to consideration of formations called underground reservoirs, into which water is charged naturally or can be charged artificially when there is surplus, and from which water is available when needed either as gravity escape from groundwater reservoir into surface stream or as controlled extractions by wells and pumps. (See also - discussion n 1 Jan 1945 p 33-62; n 3 Mar p 351-7,n 4 Apr p 563-78, n 5 May p 761-8, n 6 June p 902-6)
