Bridge crossing at Vicksburg; near west approach, 18-in. line ties into header from which two 14-in. lines extend, over top of levee and underground along steel trestle to within 700 ft of bridge proper, rising to bottom member of highway girders; on bridge, lines are supported on rollers set in brackets welded on north side of steelwork; expansion bends; emergency valve controls.
