Passive analog computers for structural analysis, H
Principal application of passive analog computers is to solution of linear static and dynamic structural problems containing from 10 to 100 degress of freedom; 5 examples of structural analysis described include static analysis of delta wing, fuselage shell with cutout, inboard portion of swept wing, and arch dam; vibration mode analysis of Tacoma Narrows Bridge is also described; comparisons of field measurements with analog computer results are included for all examples.
