Comparison of simplified theories for folded plates
Fundamental principles underlying several simplified theories for prismatic folded plates (ignoring torsional moments, longitudinal bending moments, and shear deformations) are examined, and close relationships existing among them are demonstrated; theories are classified into groups, and in process three new methods of analysis are developed.
