Soil-cement stabilization tried for Dutch highways
In Netherlands soil stabilization trials, only sand and sandy-gravel soils were used, some with slight clay or loam content; samples were taken from road to be stabilized; these materials were mixed with 10% water, made up into molds and compacted; pre-mix method was used on 47,000 sq yd of roads, all involving fine sand; results are tabulated.
