A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Extended and comprehensive structural research in development of effective modulus of elasticity as applied to civil engineering and aircraft structures, is presented; proposed linear moduli (Slavin) are based on simplified linear relations, which are applicable to structural columns, and they provide for difference between ideal and practical column; linear postulates are applicable to problems in buckling, critical loading, and stability analysis for structural metals having well-defined yield point for civil engineering structures and for aluminum alloys having offset yield stress for aircraft structures.
