Granulometric properties of cement stabilized sands
Triaxial compression tests performed on compacted sand-portland cement mixtures of variety of fine and medium sands after 7 days of curing; suitable relationships were found to exist between measured cohesive strengths, and volumetric proportion of sand voids filled with portland cement and relative surface area of sands; 3-dimensional graphical model is included whereby cohesive strengths developed by tested mixtures can be predicted from volumetric cement-to-voids ratio and relative surface area of sands.
