176-Ft span prestressed concrete footbridge at Ranchi -- Indigenous system of prestressing used
Construction of prestressed concrete footbridge providing approach from top of dam to its intake tower is described; bridge girder is assemblage of 3-ft long precast segments post-tensioned together; 12-ft wide timber staging was constructed along alignment of bridge on top of which precast segments were arranged in correct sequential order to check with cable profiles.
