Geophysical investigations on projects of United States Bureau of reclamation in Kansas
Results of investigations over period of 16 yr; refraction seismograph and electrical resistivity methods were used to study possible dam sites and to determine quantity of materials available for construction purposes; refraction surveys to determine bedrock depth; resistivity investigations made to locate zones of opaline cemented material in Ogallala formation; seismic refraction studies at Cedar Bluff dam site located and traced known buried stream channel.
