Latex-siliconate waterproofing compositions can be injected into holes drilled in masonry to form horizontal or vertical damp-proof courses; where gravitational feed into drill holes cannot be used, as in flat or arched ceiling areas, solution has been to use pressurized injection through tapered nozzle into holes drilled at angle, coupled with use of rapid setting cement and space heaters; applications of this technique to grouting of cracks in concrete construction, subway tunnels, basements, asphalt roofing, swimming pools, and ornamental ponds.
