Field investigation of prestressed reinforced concrete highway bridges
Study was undertaken to develop instrumentation program applicable to field investigation of prestressed concrete bridge; study was designed to be directly applicable to multi-span bridge in which each span consists of several pretensioned, precast I-section girders; deck is composite with girders, and is reinforced to provide live-load continuity; instrumentation was developed to measure long time behavior of prestressed concrete structure and can be used for measuring effects of static live loads.
