Structural behaviour of Moat street flyover, Coventry
Bridge has composite steel-and-concrete deck on which measurements were made of strain and temperature during construction and for 2 yr after construction and of response of bridge to heavy vehicle load; measurements indicated degree of structural interaction between deck slab and steel girders, effectiveness of propping girders during construction, changes in behavior of structure during first 2 yr after construction, effect of temperature changes, transverse distribution of live-load moment and natural frequency of structure.
