Construction features of the Willwood Diversion Dam, built by Reclamation Bureau
Concrete gravity dam finished in 1923 diverts 320 second-feet of water from Shoshone River for irrigation purposes; dam is 320 ft. long; unusual features of design were arrangement of diversion headworks and means adopted for preventing erosion of stream bed below dam; shows location, general plan, and typical cross-sections of dam; foundation conditions. (See also Hydraulic Eng vol. 4, no. 4, Apr. 1928 pp. 200-201 and 232-233, 3 figs; Eng. and Contracting, vol. 67, no. 5, May 1928, pp. 232-234, 1 fig)
