Reconstruction of North Breakwater, Ramsey Harbour, Isle of Man
New breakwater is curvilinear in form, 700 ft in length, 21 ft 9-in. wide at deck level and 35 ft wide at base; average height, from foundation course to deck is 31 ft; it is of mass concrete of 4:2:1 mix; 25 wave breaking units spaced 12 ft apart are used to dissipate wave motion in harbor during on-shore storm.
