Conditions for desulphurization during sintering
Investigation of sintering process has shown possibility of eliminating up to 96-98% of sulphur, if sintering temperature can be increased by lowering amount of slag forming materials, partial replacement of limestone in sintering blend by dolomite, use of combined and uniform heating of sintering blend, and careful separation of returns.
