Abstract A door operator unit (1) is provided comprising a motor unit housing (3) and an electric component housing 5 (5). The electric component housing (5) has mounting surface means (19) for co-operating with corresponding mating mounting surface means (19) on the motor unit housing (3). Fastening means (23) are provided for holding the two housings (3 & 5) mated together. The 10 electric component housing (5) carries either a plug or socket connector (25), and the motor unit housing (3) carries an opposite socket and plug connector (25).
