Abstract A water drum system (10) comprising a cover member (12) having first and 5 second tabs (24, 25) extending downwardly from opposed sides such that when the cover member (12) is placed over an upper opening (22) in a water drum (16), the first and second tabs (24, 25) extend downwardly adjacent a side wall (18) of the drum (16). A securing rod (28) is receivable through apertures (26) in the first and second tabs (24, 25) and aligned holes (30) in 10 the drum (16). The securing rod (28) includes a widened portion (34) at a first end and a releasable locking means engageable with a second end such that when the releasable locking means is engaged with the second end, the securing rod may not be removed from the apertures (26) so that the cover member (12) is secured in place across the upper opening (22) of the drum 15 (16). ------ 50 Fig1 % " 1-1 1 1 1 , 1 - 1 , 1 II ~ 68 't 5 Fig 5
