A pop-up plug assembly for use with a bath tub or basin, the bath tub or basin including a plug housing adapted to be received within an opening of a bath tub or basin, the plug housing having an annular cavity passing therethrough. The pop-up assembly includes a plug cap having a seal and a plunger assembly. The plug cap is positioned at a first end of the plunger assembly and the plunger assembly is located substantially within the annular cavity of the plug housing and operates to engage or disengage the seal of the plug cap in order to seal or unseal the annular cavity of the plug housing. The pop-up plug assembly also includes a plunger assembly support seat located substantially at a second end of the plunger assembly. The plunger assembly support seat includes a central body and a plurality of arms extending out from the central body, wherein the plurality of arms are configured to removably retain the pop-up plug assembly within the annular cavity of the plug housing. 27 4 30 352 20 4 10 + 21 53 21 85 -520 28 54b565 53b 55b Figure 3
