A fencing spigot able to be used for pool fencing, the fencing spigot comprising: a body having a reinforcement member having two spaced-apart arms connected to a base, the spaced apart arms having a gap located between the arms; and an electrically non-conductive coating located at least partially over the reinforcement member; wherein the reinforcement member extends substantially the length of the body.
