A triple-shell tank comprising an inner tank, an intermediate tank that covers the inner tank, and an outer tank that covers the intermediate tank. The inner tank includes: an inner tank side plate assembled by stacking a plurality of annular steps each formed from a plurality of inner tank side plate pieces arranged in an annular shape; an inner tank roof; and an inner tank bottom plate. The intermediate tank includes: an intermediate tank side plate assembled by stacking a plurality of annular steps each formed from a plurality of intermediate tank side plate pieces arranged in an annular shape; an intermediate tank roof; and an intermediate tank bottom plate. The annular steps of the intermediate tank side plate include: the lowermost step formed from intermediate tank side plate pieces for height adjustment having a height corresponding to a difference in height between the inner tank bottom plate and the intermediate tank bottom plate; and the second lowermost step formed from intermediate tank side plate pieces disposed at the same height position as that of the inner tank side plate pieces of the lowermost step among the annular steps of the inner tank side plate.
