A WALL SUPPORT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING MULTISTORY BUILDINGS
A wall support system for use in constructing walls of an above ground level of a multi-level building, the prop comprising: a top support plate locatable on a top surface of a floor of the above ground level and a bottom support plate locatable on a bottom surface of the floor beneath the top support plate; a securing means for securing the top support plate to the bottom support plate, thereby sandwiching a portion of the floor therebetween; a bottom support prop having a first end configured to couple to the bottom support plate and a second end configured to couple to a load bearing structure associated with the multi-level building; and a top support prop having a first end configured to couple to the top support plate and a second end for attaching to an inner surface of a pre-cast concrete slab wall vertically positioned on the floor, and wherein, in use, the top support prop extends diagonally from the top support plate to the pre-cast concrete slab wall for supporting the pre-cast concrete wall during construction of the multi-level building. 10 --L Fig1
