- 22 Abstract A method of assembling a building structure in which a truss is connected to a structural component, the method comprising effecting abutment between the truss and component and 5 fixing together the abutting truss and component with at least one fastener which has been pre-applied to one of the truss and the component, wherein the or each pre-applied fastener is arranged so as not to preclude sliding between the abutting truss and component before the fixing together of the truss and component. 10 (Figure 9A.)
