CONNECTION OF STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS IN A BUILDING STRUCTURE
The present invention relates to connection of a structural component to at least one other structural component in the assembly of a building structure. One aspect of the invention has particular, though not exclusive, application to fixing of a roof member to another member in the assembly of the structure. Another aspect of the invention has application to fixing of a truss to another member in the assembly. The invention is particularly, though not exclusively, suited to construction of timber frame buildings.
La présente invention concerne le raccordement d'un composant structural à au moins un autre composant structural dans l'ensemble d'une structure de construction. Un aspect de l'invention a en particulier, mais pas exclusivement, l'application à la fixation d'un élément de toit à un autre élément dans l'ensemble de la structure. Un autre aspect de l'invention s'applique à la fixation d'une ferme à un autre élément de l'ensemble. L'invention est particulièrement, mais pas exclusivement, appropriée à la construction de bâtiments à ossature en bois.
