An insulating panel to be used in a panelized insulation system for insulating and finishing walls, including basement walls has a foam core made of inorganic materials. The system incorporates a capillary break, an integrated water drainage system and an electrical wire chase system within an insulating wall panel. Vertical slots are provided for insertion of metal studs for use in attaching the interior finish panel, such as inorganic fiber cement board with a vinyl laminate finish, onto the insulating panels. Embedding metal studs in the panel core reduces the sound transmission though the panel and eliminates thermal bridging between warm and cold surfaces. Steps on the edges and the top/bottom surfaces of the insulating panel allow more panels to join together with shiplap joints.
Un panneau isolant est destiné à un système disolation parallèle servant à lisolation et la finition des murs, y compris les murs de sous-sol, présente un noyau en mousse fait de matériaux inorganiques. Le système intègre une rupture capillaire, un système d'évacuation deau intégré et un système de chemin de fils électriques à lintérieur du panneau mural isolant. Des fentes verticales sont fournies en vue de linsertion de montants en métal servant à attacher le panneau de finition intérieure, comme un panneau de ciment en fibre inorganique ayant un fini stratifié en vinyle, sur les panneaux isolants. Lintégration des montants en métal dans le noyau du panneau réduit la transmission du son dans le panneau et élimine le pont thermique entre les surfaces chaudes et les surfaces froides. Des échelons sur les surfaces de rebord et du haut et du bas du panneau isolant permettent de joindre plusieurs panneaux au moyen de joints à clin.
