RAIL JOINT BARS AND RAIL JOINT ASSEMBLIES
A rail joint bar is provided having a body having a first surface, a second surface, an upper end, a lower end and a defining peripheral edge, the first surface positioned opposite the second surface, the upper end and lower end positioned between the first and second surfaces, wherein a recessed portion is defined at an intermediate section of the upper end. The rail joint bar also has an insulating layer made of a mesh screen and an adhesive position on opposite sides of the mesh screen that is configured to be sandwiched between the body of the rail joint bar and two abutting railroad rails.
Une barre de joint de rail est présentée comportant un corps ayant une première surface, une deuxième surface, une extrémité supérieure, une extrémité inférieure et un bord périphérique défini, la première surface étant positionnée opposée à la deuxième surface, lextrémité supérieure et l'extrémité inférieure étant positionnées entre la première et la deuxième surfaces, où une portion en retrait est définie à une section intermédiaire de l'extrémité supérieure. La barre de joint de rail comporte également une couche isolante faite dun écran maillé et une position dadhésion sur les côtés opposés de lécran maillé qui est configuré pour être pris entre le corps de la barre de joint de rail et deux rails de chemin de fer saboutant.
