HYDRAULIC WEDGE COUPLER
ABSTRACT A hydraulic coupler is provided for coupling between a prime carrier and an attachment. The coupler includes a wedge for securing the coupler to the attachment, the wedge being hydraulically actuated to move from an engaged to a disengaged position; and a .. locking mechanism, actuatable to block a travel path of the wedge from an engaged position to a disengaged position, the locking mechanism being hydraulically actuated to unblock the travel path. Hydraulic actuation of the locking mechanism to unblock the travel path and hydraulic actuation of the wedge to the disengaged position are synchronized. A hydraulic coupler is further provided including a frame of the coupler, a wedge, moveable within the frame for securing the coupler to an attachment, and a locking mechanism integral with the frame and actuatable to block a travel path of the wedge from an engaged position to a disengaged position. 12063200-1 12 CA 3065730 2019-12-20
