The invention relates to a shaft elevator installation method. The shaft elevator installation method comprises the following steps of arranging an installation platform on the top layer of an elevator shaft; installing a counterweight block support and a counterweight block at the top layer of the shaft; installing an elevator car on the bottom layer of the shaft. The shaft elevator installation method solves the defects that, in the prior art, construction and detachment of a scaffold working platform are tedious and the scaffold operation is high in risk, the existing scaffold is replaced by an installation platform which is simple in structure, easy to detach and high in safety coefficient, a test can be performed without installing the installation platform after an elevator is constructed, and debugging of the elevator is convenient.
