The energy-saving thermal insulation mortar comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of cement, 42-50 parts of boiler slag, 26-30 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, 12-20 parts of latex powder, 10-14 parts of wheat straw powder, 3-10 parts of methyl cellulose, 4-7 parts of carbon fiber powder and 0.5-2 parts of polyvinyl pyrrolidone. By taking wastes and natural substances such as the boiler slag and the wheat straws as raw materials, the energy-saving thermal insulation mortar for the waste boiler slag, disclosed by the invention, is effectively lowered in cost, more low-carbon and energy-saving, has excellent heat insulation properties, weather resistance and the like and meets the needs of people.
