The invention provides an antitheft manhole cover, which comprises a cover body and a base, wherein a hook hole is formed in an upper cover plate of the cover body, the base comprises an annular frame, the annular frame comprises longitudinal gate sheets uniformly distributed in the circumferential direction and transverse lap sheets connected with the middle part of each longitudinal gate sheet, a longitudinal chute is formed between every two adjacent longitudinal gate sheets, the cover body also comprises a tubular side wall, the outer diameter of the tubular side wall is a little smaller than the inner diameter of an annular belt enclosed by each longitudinal gate sheet arranged on the annular frame, the lower part of the tubular side wall is provided with at least one pair of longitudinal edge sheets, the sum of heights of the longitudinal edge sheets and the longitudinal chutes is not greater than the height from the lower edge of the tubular side wall to the lower surface of the upper cover plate, lap sheet notches are formed in the annular belt formed by each transverse lap sheet, the number of the lap sheet notches and the circumferential are identical to the pair number of the longitudinal edge sheets, in the longitudinal moving process of the cover body, clearance hole for the longitudinal edge sheets are only formed in lap sheet notch parts in the annular belt, and each of the rest transverse lap sheets respectively forms blockage on the longitudinal edge sheets. The manhole cover has the advantages that the structure is simple, and the manhole cover is difficult to be stolen.
