The invention provides a wear-resistant toughener for a wet sprayed paint and a preparation method thereof. The wear-resistant toughener is prepared by compounding the following components in parts by weight: 20-60 parts of an inorganic fiber, 10-30 parts of superfine silica gel powder, 20-50 parts of activated alumina CL370 and 3-10 parts of polyaryl aliphatic sodium sulfonate. By adopting the wear-resistant toughener, the problem on the flow of the paint in the process of spraying can be solved, the strength of the sprayed paint can be improved in the course of use, the wear resistance and the toughness of the paint sprayed on the throat, body and bosh a furnace can be improved, the damage caused by materials and airflow to the sprayed paint can be reduced, and the service life of the sprayed paint can be prolonged.
