The invention discloses a multi-layer composite thermal insulating outer wall. The multi-layer composite thermal insulating outer wall comprises AAC boards, wherein each AAC board is formed in a manner that a thermal insulating material is sandwiched between two layers of autoclaved aerated concrete boards, and the AAC boards are spliced and connected with a plurality of I-steel beams and square steel posts; the first AAC board is connected with a fixing support plate on one I-steel beam through bolts, and insulating spacers are arranged at bolt connecting parts in a sleeving way to form a broken bridge; EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foamed concrete is filled between the fixing support plate and the first AAC board after connection; the second AAC board is connected with fixing steel angles on the same I-steel beam through bolts, and insulating spacers are arranged at bolt connecting parts in a sleeving way to form a broken bridge; the fixing support plate on one I-steel beam is inverted T-shaped and is abutted with a bottom leg of the first AAC board. Rapid, efficient, safe and energy-saving assembly type wall mounting is realized, and a cold bridge problem is effectively solved by prefabricated outer wall boards and reasonable design that the broken bridge nodes are adopted and the nodes are filling with thermal insulating slurry.
