Porous silicon nitride/silicon carbide composite ceramic material and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to a porous silicon nitride/silicon carbide composite ceramic material and a preparation method thereof. According to the technical scheme, the preparation method comprises the following steps of preparing 25-75wt% of silicon nitride powder, 12-69wt% of silicon carbide powder, 3-8wt% of a sintering aid and3-5wt% of a binder, mixing silicon nitride powder, silicon carbide powder and the sintering aid at the proportion, uniformly mixing the binder and the mixed powder and carrying out dry-pressing molding to obtain a biscuit; finally heating the buscuit to 1450 DEG C-1800 DEG C in a nitrogen or argon atmosphere at a speed of 1-15 DEG C/min and carrying out heat preservation for 3-8 hours to obtain the porous silicon nitride/silicon carbide composite ceramic material, wherein the silicon carbide powder comprises 1-55wt% of silicon carbide powder having a particle size of 60-500mu m, 5-55wt% of silicon carbide powder having a particle size of 8-60mu m and 35-85wt% of silicon carbide powder having a particle size below 8mu m. the preparation method is simple and low in cost; and the prepared porous silicon nitride/silicon carbide composite ceramic material has the advantages of high porosity, high temperature resistance, high strength, good thermal shock resistance and excellent creep resistance.
