The invention relates to a soil slope greening device and method. The soil slope greening device comprises a planting bowl, a plant planted in the planting bowl, at least one pair of limiting bands and fixing rings, wherein the bottom of the planting bowl is provided with a first hole, the limiting bands are arranged outside the planting bowl and are mutually connected, and the fixing rings are arranged on the periphery of the planting bowl and the peripheries of the limiting bands. The two ends of each limiting band are provided with a second hole and a clamping block respectively. A fixing anchor rod is arranged in each second hole, and one end of each fixing anchor rod is fixedly connected with the corresponding second hole. The fixing rings are located above the clamping blocks. The limiting bands are fixed in the mode that the fixing rings clamp the clamping blocks. The soil slope greening device has the advantages that the construction process is simple and convenient, cost is low, the greening device can rapidly become effectively, the specifications of plants are identical, and the landscape effect is good. The soil slope greening device is particularly suitable for the slope types, with conventional slope greening methods difficult to implement, such as a loose slope, and the soil slope greening device and method have quite remarkable advantages.
