The emulsified asphalt thermal insulation mortar is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 3-5 parts of obsidian, 1-2 parts of volcanic ash, 2-4 parts of diatomite, 1-3 parts of starch ether, 4-8 parts of coal gangue, 0.1-0.4 part of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, 1-1.8 parts of acrylic acid, 1-2 parts of ferrous silicate, 1-2 parts of silicon carbide, 1-2 parts of an SMAC efficient low alkali expanding admixture, 50-70 parts of emulsified asphalt, 70-110 parts of water, 24-38 parts of modified coating attapulgite, 20-30 parts of waste gypsum residue, 20-40 parts of cement, 0.4-0.7 part of guar gum, 0.3-0.5 part of Tween 80 and 0.1-0.3 part of a water reducer for sugar calcium.
