The invention belongs to the field of foamed ceramic materials, and in particular relates to a silicon carbide foamed ceramic material. The foamed ceramic material comprises the following components by mass percent: 40%-60% of silicon carbide micro powder, 4%-10% of hydrogen peroxide, 5%-15% of calcium carbonate micro powder, 3%-6% of polyvinyl alcohol and 5%-15% of silica sol. Compared with the prior art, the foamed ceramic material has the advantages that the structure is uniform and consistent, the stability of the product performance can be improved while the production period is shortened.
