Silicon carbide foamed ceramic and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to silicon carbide foamed ceramic and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of ceramic processing. The silicon carbide formed ceramic is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 60-80 parts of silicon carbide, 10-20 parts of kaolin, 10-20 parts of aluminum oxide, 5-10 parts of silica sol, 5-10 parts of polyester polyol, 0.1-2 parts of a catalyst, 0.1-1 part of a surfactant, 0.5-2 parts of a foaming agent and 0.1-3 parts of a curing agent. The preparation method for the silicon carbide foamed ceramic comprises the following steps: mixing the polyester polyol, the catalyst, the surfactant and the foaming agent to obtain a mixture I; then, adding the silicon carbide powder, the kaolin, the aluminum oxide powder and the silica sol into the mixture I to stir uniformly to obtain a mixture II, adding the curing agent into the mixture II to uniformly mix to obtain a mixture III, putting the mixture III into a molding container to react and cure, performing pore-opening treatment on a cured foamed ceramic sponge body, and sintering the pored cured foamed ceramic sponge body at a high temperature to obtain the silicon carbide foamed ceramic. The ceramic film has the advantages of being low in sintering temperature, high in efficiency and high in product purity.
