The invention discloses an environment-friendly ceramic bonding agent and a preparation method thereof. The environment-friendly ceramic bonding agent is prepared from the following substances in parts by weight: 32-38 parts of Na2O, 22-28 parts of B2O3, 25-31 parts of Al2O3, 15-20 parts of SiO2, 2-6 parts of Li2O, 5-8 parts of K2O and 7-10 parts of ZnO. The preparation method of the environment-friendly ceramic bonding agent comprises the following steps: fully mixing all the raw materials in a ball mill, adding water, carrying out ball milling for 6-8 hours, then standing for 3-4 hours, pouring the water out, drying at the temperature of 95-105 DEG C, then carrying out ball milling again, and sieving, so that the ceramic bonding agent is obtained. The prepared ceramic bonding agent has the characteristics of low refractoriness and high strength.
