The invention provides a combined cofferdam structure and a construction method. The combined cofferdam structure adopts the scheme that the combined cofferdam structure comprises a cofferdam, and is characterized in that the cofferdam consists of a plurality of spaced inner row piles and a plurality of outer row piles, wherein each outer row pile is arranged between every two adjacent inner row piles, is tangential with the corresponding two inner row piles at the two sides and is positioned at the outer sides of the corresponding two inner row piles, each inner row pile is lower than the corresponding outer row pile, a vertical reinforced concrete cast-in-place wall plate is arranged at the top end of each inner row pile in a foundation pit in a continuous closing way, and a cofferdam inner support system is arranged in the cofferdam. The combined cofferdam structure has the advantages that the cofferdam row piles can be simultaneously constructed together with a main structure, so the construction period is greatly shortened; the soil inserting depth of each cofferdam row pile is easily controlled, and the good embedding depth is reached; the inner row piles are tangential with the corresponding outer row pile, so the good safety and stability are realized; the row piles are arranged in the tangential way, and a cementing body is formed between the pile concrete and the surrounding soil of the cofferdam, so the water closing property is good.
