The invention relates to a wood-plastic plate produced by using industrial by-product gypsum as a main raw material and a preparation method of the wood-plastic plate. The wood-plastic plate comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 55-65 parts of modified industrial byproduct gypsum, 35-45 parts of waste plastic particles, 0.1-1 part of a heat stabilizer and 0.1-1 part of a lubricant. The wood-plastic plate and the preparation method thereof disclosed by the invention have the following beneficial effects that 1, the defects of poor fireproof performance and high material comprehensive cost brought by wood-plastic plates produced in the prior art are solved; 2, industrial waste residues and waste plastic are mainly used as the raw materials, and thus the effective utilization of the wastes is realized, the material comprehensive cost is low, and quite high economic benefits can be produced, meanwhile, coal-fired power generation enterprises and chemical enterprises are also helped to digest the industrial by-product gypsum discharged for a long time.
