Method of producing haydite for thermal insulation block by utilizing steel slag quenched with wind
The invention discloses a method of producing haydite for a thermal insulation block by utilizing steel slag quenched with wind. The method comprises the following steps: 1) weighing raw materials according to mass weight; 2) grinding the raw materials in a grinder into powder in a mixing mode, stirring in a stirrer, adding water, and continuously stirring in the stirrer; 3) then pelletizing on a high-pressure twinroller machine to obtain a spherical granular raw meal; 4) enabling the obtained spherical raw meal to enter a drying system, raising the temperature of a pellet, and then drying; 5) underfiring by a rotary kiln; and 6) finally, roasting at a high temperature, and cooling to obtain steel slag haydite. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the produced hollow block has the performances of thermal insulation, seismic resistance, freezing resistance, fire resistance and the like and is also capable of solving the problem that the steel slag piles up to pollute the environment at present and increasing the added value of steel slag utilization. Meanwhile, the method is simple in process and low in cost, is environmentally friendly and saves the energy.
