The invention relates to a two-stage and two-line communication ship lock, aiming at solving the problem that the existing two-stage and two-line ship lock wastes a great deal of water. The technical scheme is as follows: the bottoms of lock chambers of the two-stage and two-line communication ship lock are connected by a water pipe, and the water pipe used for communicating is provided with a valve; water in the previous stage of the lock chamber of the line A can be discharged into the next stage of the lock chamber of the line B; the water in the previous stage of the lock chamber of the line B can be discharged into the next stage of the lock chamber of the line A; when water between the two lock chambers does not need to be discharged, the water pipe used for communicating the two lock chambers is closed by the valve. Shortage of water resources is more and more serious, so that the two-stage and two-line ship locks which need to be built or are built in China can be built or changed into the two-stage and two-line communication ship locks.
