The invention discloses an open type grid door applied in a box type substation. The open type grid door comprises the box type substation, and is characterized in that a grid door I and a grid door II are arranged in the box type substation, one sides of the grid door I and the grid door II are arranged on the two side walls of the box type substation through at least two connectors, and the other sides of the grid door I and the grid door II are connected through lock chains. The grid door I and the grid door II are arranged between the first door and a high-voltage switchgear and between a power distribution transformer and a low-voltage power distributor respectively, and non-working staff can be prevented from contacting the high-voltage switchgear, the power distribution transformer and the low-voltage power distributor by the grid door I and the grid door II.
