The invention relates to the technical field of chemical building material and particularly relates to a hemihydrate gypsum substrate simulated granite wall brick and a preparation method thereof. Through the appropriate proportion of the hemihydrate gypsum, a fiber, cement, flyash and a simulated granite paint raw material, the hemihydrate gypsum is activated, the activity of the hemihydrate gypsum is enhanced, the using amount of the hemihydrate gypsum is increased, the stockpiling volume of the phosphogypsum in the environment is reduced and the environment pollution is reduced; additionally, by adding the fiber and the cement, the strength of the product is largely improved and promoted; in the hemihydrate gypsum manufacture process, the soluble impurity content in the hemihydrate gypsum is reduced, the influence of the impurity on the gypsum solidification performance is reduced, the strength and the freezing-thaw resistance of the gypsum are enhanced and the radioactivity in the gypsum is reduced, the internal and external exposure indexes are less than 1 and the requirement of manufacturing the building material product by the waste is met.
