Dry-quenched mullite brick and preparation method thereof
The invention provides a dry-quenched mullite brick and a preparation method thereof. The dry-quenched mullite brick comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 5wt%-10wt% of special grade high aluminum, 45wt%-55wt% of sintered mullite, 5wt%-15wt% of andalusite, 5wt%-10wt% of white flint clay, 12wt%-18wt% of sillimanite, 2wt%-6wt% of alumina and 2wt%-8wt% of clay. According to the preparation method, special grade high aluminum, sintered mullite, white flint clay and andalusite are taken as aggregates, and microcracks in an organization structure of the dry-quenched mullite brick are toughened, so that the thermal shock stability is improved; furthermore, by virtue of primary mullitization and secondary mullitization of andalusite and sillimanite at different temperatures, the high-temperature volume stability and high-temperature performance of the dry-quenched mullite brick are improved. According to the dry-quenched mullite brick, the apparent porosity is lower than 16%, the compression strength is higher than 90MPa, the wear resistance is smaller than 4cm<3>, and the thermal shock property is higher than 40 times.
