The invention discloses a preparation method of a damp-proof floor tile. The preparation method comprises the following steps that based on the weight part, clay, kaolin, quartz sand, copper oxide, purple clay, sericite, a chrome wire, titanium dioxide, a dispersing agent, a stabilizing agent and water are mixed and the mixed mixture is put into a ball mill to be subjected to ball milling so as to obtain slurry; the slurry is sieved and subjected to spray drying to obtain particle materials; punch forming on the particle materials is carried out by using a pneumatic press; the particle materials are put into a kiln furnace to be sintered, cooled, edged and polished to obtain the damp-proof floor tile. The floor tile prepared by using the method is low in water absorption rate, has a damp-proof function and can be widely applied to a decoration process.
