The invention discloses a large fabric for repairing furnace. The large fabric is composed of the following components in percentage by weight: 23 wt% of regenerated magnesia carbon, 30 wt% of magnesia with a high iron content, 27 wt% of regenerated silicon carbide, 15 wt% of high temperature asphalt, 2 wt% of urotropine, and 3 wt% of caprolactam. The provided large fabric can be applied on converters and has the advantages of high adhesive rate, good anti-stripping property, quick sintering speed, corrosion resistance, scouring resistance, and little high temperature expansion.
