The invention provides a pile leg section folding tool and a mounting method of a pile leg section supporting pipe to be mounted. The folding tool comprises a clamping ring, a suspender and a steel wire rope, the clamping ring sleeves the end of the supporting pipe to be mounted, one end of the suspender is connected with the clamping ring, and two ends of the folded steel wire rope are detachably connected with the other end of the suspender through shackles. The method includes the steps: mounting the supporting pipe to be mounted; folding pile legs; fixing the supporting pipe to be mounted. After a pile leg section is vertically turned over, the supporting pipe is lifted on the lower portion of a horizontal pipe of the pile leg section through a bandage or the folding tool, so that erection of scaffolds is omitted after the pile leg section is folded, the supporting pipe can be mounted after being lifted and adjusted to a proper position through a chain block, the risk of erecting and disassembling the scaffolds at a high altitude is avoided, safety in the mounting process is greatly improved, and cost is greatly reduced.
