The invention discloses a combined ecological retaining wall building block. The combined ecological retaining wall building block comprises first building blocks and second building blocks, wherein a plurality of ecological spaces which are communicated with each other and used for planting of green plants through soil filling or serving as places for habitation and reproduction of aquatic animals are formed after the first building blocks and the second building blocks are repeatedly connected in a clamping mode and interlocked in sequence from top to bottom. The combined ecological retaining wall building block is simple in structure and convenient to construct. A clamping connection interlocking structure is formed between the first building blocks and the second building blocks, so that the stability of the slope surface is enhanced; the formed ecological spaces which are communicated can be filled with soil and vegetation, and therefore a plant root system network can be formed, and the slope surface is stabilized; or, the habitation space is provided for growth and reproduction of fishes, the ecological environment of river banks is protected, the attractive landscape ecological effect is achieved, and the effect of water and soil conservation can be achieved.
