The invention provides a road surface cleaning vehicle and a road surface cleaning method thereof. The road surface cleaning vehicle comprises a chassis, a power device, a water tank and a cleaning device. A drying device is arranged at the back side of the cleaning device along the running direction of the cleaning vehicle. The arrangement of the drying device can prevent the case that muddy water formed after the cleaning of the road surface is splashed to the back part of the vehicle when rolled over by wheels, and meanwhile, can prevent the case of safety hidden trouble due to icing of sewage on the road surface after being cleaned in winter.
